Ø   Creating an end-to-end self-service travelling environment to realize win-win among stakeholders

Ø   What are the technologies that airports and airlines should be investing in to speed up and enhance passenger experiences at each of the key airport touch-points?

Ø   How to get everyone on the customer experience train?

Ø   Airport of the future: what are the potential needs of passengers that have yet to be released?

This year is the seventh edition but the event was previously known as “The China Airport Check-In Summit”. The name was changed to the current one from the sixth edition on so as to better reflect the whole airport process of passengers from start to finish.

Kunming is the capital city of southwest China’s Yunnan Province, known mainly for its tourism attractions. It is also a Chinese hub facing Southeast Asia and South Asia. In 2015, Kunming Changshui International Airport, being one of the top 100 airports in the world, witnessed a passenger throughput of 37.65 million, up 16.8% from a year before. Kunming Airport has been standing at the forefront of the airports in improving passenger experience. As early as 2006, it became the first airport in China supporting the CUSS standard of the International Air Transport Association. Since October 2014, passengers have been able to use the mobile check-in services at Kunming Airport.
